- Is this valid in court?
- Yes, we generate a Section 63 BSA certificate with every export, ensuring digital admissibility.
- Can I pause a recording?
- No. Pausing breaks the chain of custody, making the evidence invalid.
- What if my internet drops?
- The video saves locally and auto-uploads once connection is restored.
- What is the Gate?
- Before you record, PakkaProof checks the marketplace to confirm the order is real, paid and not yet shipped. Only confirmed orders can be captured, so every video is tied to a parcel that actually left your warehouse.
- How does PakkaProof prove a video wasn't edited?
- Your phone computes a SHA-256 fingerprint of the video before it is uploaded, and we record that fingerprint with a server timestamp. The video is stored in write-once storage, and anyone checking it later, including the buyer, can re-compute the fingerprint and compare. Changing even one frame changes the fingerprint.
- Do buyers need to install an app?
- No. On Growth and Pro, you send the buyer a WhatsApp link. They watch the video in their browser and accept or reject it. If they don't respond within 72 hours, the video is treated as accepted.
- How long are videos kept?
- E-commerce videos: 30 days on Free, 90 days on Starter, 12 months on Growth and 24 months on Pro. Rental and credit evidence: 24 months. During that time nobody, including PakkaProof, can delete or alter them. After the retention period they are deleted automatically.
- Which modules can I subscribe to?
- E-Commerce Core (Gate checks, sealed packing videos, buyer confirmation) has a Free tier and paid tiers from ₹299/month. The Rental add-on (₹499/month) adds renter acceptance links, sealed move-in walkthroughs and evidence-backed deposit refunds. The Credit add-on (₹799/month) adds hashed cheque scans, EMI tracking and Section 138 notices. Take one, two or all three.
- Can I check whether a video or document was sealed by PakkaProof?
- Yes. Drop the file into pakkaproof.in/check. Your browser computes its SHA-256 fingerprint and we look for a matching seal; the file itself is never uploaded.
- What happens if I go over my monthly order limit?
- On paid tiers nothing stops: you keep recording, and extra orders are billed on your next invoice at your plan's overage rate. The Free tier stops at 50 sealed orders a month.
